Away of Change Counseling Service (AWOC) recognizes that individuals are unique and will benefit from a wide range of services including those that develop social and emotional skills. The purpose of AWOC is to impart specific skills and learning opportunities through personal/ social experiences in a proactive manner for all individuals. The comprehensive counseling encourages social and emotional change that can last a lifetime with an understanding of prson centered treatment that considers individual dianosis, finances, medical and mental health, employment, psychosocial issues and readiness to chane to increase copin skills, desire, improve self-image and sellf-worth.

AWOC Provides a full range of Assesments to Accurately diagnos mental health conditions and determine the most effective combination of counseling and medication management services. to minimize the impact on daily living.
Psychotropic medication management for those With diagnosed mental health conditions. Qualified professionals ensure appropriate dosage is recieved. and monitor for compliance and effectiveness.
The Change Program helps participants maintain healthier relationships. it consists of: (S.E.A.P) The Social and Emotional Awareness Program Aiming to Increase social awareness and emotional intelligence as well as (A.I.P) The abuse intervention Program focuses on eliminating domestic violence by increasing awareness and Accountibility
Away of Change provides substance use services including both intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and outpatient programs (OP) , As well as Suboxone maintenance. We have experienced professionals and curriculums designed to reduce or eliminate drug use.
We provide a variety of services for those who have been mandated by the court and need to remain compliant. Services include anger management, gambling counseling, substance use treatment and more.
Services for those facing DSS cases. We offer parrenting classes and DSS compliance assistance . Our Goal is to to help keep families together in happy homes
We serve adults, adolescents, and youth. All applicants must have active Medicaid insurance. Priority populations include those with mental , physical, or substance use disorders.
Applicants must have Valid Id, social security card, and proof of current medica Insurance. Please reach out if interested and in need of assistance obtaining required documents.
Every wellness journey begins with an intake. Prospective patients meet with our intake coordinator where they get a chance to learn details about our programs, rules, and facilities. At this time we also complete several screenings that aid us with pairing each individual with the program and provider best positioned to meet their needs.

To begin services applicants must possess a valid ID, social security card, and proof of active insurance. Please bring these items to your intake apportionment or be prepared to email a copy of completing a virtual intake .
To remain active in any Away of Change program patients must attend at least one session each month. If A patient goes 30 days without a session he/she will be considered inactive. If a patient remains inactive for more than 30 days he/she will be discharged from the program and required to complete a new intake before resuming services.
